A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to non-existent addresses under the very same domain name. For example, an email sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can receive messages from colleagues or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some moment you may begin receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction implies that the spam will not be delivered to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all mailbox without effort if you have a cloud website hosting plan with us. The Email Manager tool in our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet stunningly intuitive, and it will allow you to activate various options, including the catch-all one, with no more than a few clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve got will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and on the right side of each one of them you will see a mini "Catch-all" button. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking on it once again will disable it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another one with this option enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

A catch-all address can be created with a few clicks of the mouse if you’ve got a semi-dedicated hosting with us. The semi-dedicated account will be managed via our custom-built Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to create email addresses with any domain name registered here. To activate the catch-all feature for a specific mailbox, you will have to click the symbol with the exact same name, which will be on the right-hand side of each mailbox. Disabling this feature can be done in the exact same way and will not require more than a click either. In case the catch-all option has already been activated for a certain domain name, you will get a notification. The same goes if the mailbox that you would like to be a catch-all one has email forwarding activated, as our system will never deactivate or modify any feature automatically.
